Klara is currently focusing on strategic city planning. She works as a project manager and urban planner – analyst at 4ct company.
Within the current activity in 4ct platform, her research topic is „How to organise planning “. You can see the results in the urban planning institutions– IPR Praha, KAM Karlovy Vary and KAM Brno. Part of the research was created in the framework of Graduate programme on the Faculty of Architecture at CTU Prague.
Klára has worked in several architectural and designing officers in the Czech Republic (Archilab, Olaf studio, SPS Property Management and others), where she has gained experience in designing, engineering and project coordination.
She studied a semester in the United States where she opened a new opportunity for cooperation between the Czech Technical University in Prague and the urban planning institution Kansas City Design Center.
Topics and activities
Klara is dedicated to non-profit projects supporting the young generation of architects in their development. She was the co-organizer of the Superstudio student competition, which has already achieved an international reputation.
Klara also supports non-profit projects focusing on problematic social issues of contemporary cities and has worked for production and PR in several such programs. She was also the chief architect of the nationwide Containers to the World Festival, which aimed to draw attention to the importance of public space in cities.
During her studies at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University she focused on strategic topics. The experience gained from the academic and working environment was concretized in his diploma thesis dealing with the vision of Pilsen and its rivers.
She is looking for inspiration abroad for her projects and aims to create an environment conducive to addressing current urban issues. She enjoys connecting her field with other interests like music, namely the organ pipes, both from the point of view of the play and the design itself.
