Náš návrh se opírá o dvě základní myšlenky: Snaha se co nejvíce přiblížit k historické podobě náměstí a zároveň umožnit vznik více míst s odlišným charakterem aniž by byla porušena celistvost náměstí.
První bod obnáší především obnovu dvou- až třířadých lipových alejí po obvodu náměstí. Dále navrhujeme pročištění střední části parku od křovin a několika nekoncepčně vysazených stromů. Tato úprava umožní přímý průhled mezi kašnou a památníkem s pokračováním směrem ke kostelní věži.
Obnova se týká i samotné kašny a památníku – u obou staveb očekáváme citlivou rekonstrukci. Rekonstrukce v případě kašny zahrnuje mimojiné odstranění nepůvodní střední části, u památníku se předpokládá obnovení plastik.
Druhý bod se týká vytvoření prostorů s různou hierarchií a atmosférou. Na severu je pěší zóna, s posezením za stoly, s malým dětským hřištěm a s občasným parkováním, část náměstí kde se mohou konat růžné akce, například trhy. na jižní straně se změnou parkovacího režimu, zlepšením povrchu, vysazením aleje a hlavně propojením se zbytkem náměstí snažíme podpořit poměrně živý parter. Samostatnou částí je park – místo oddechu.
Celé náměstí je sjednocené dlažbou, vyzvednutím vozovky k úrovni chodníku a tradičními lipovými alejemi. Náměstí se pomocí dlažby a rozšíření chodníků spojuje také s okolními prostory a to se zámečkem, předprostorem kostela a Palackého náměstím.

Our project is based on two main ideas. One is the effort to get closer to the historical form of the square and to enable the creation of multiple sites with different character without violating the integrity of the square.
First idea brings the renovation of double till triple row linden alleys around the perimeter of the square. We also suggest unclog of the middle part of the park from several non-conceptually planted trees. This will enable direct vista between the fountain and memorial with continuing towards the church tower.
The renovation refers to itself as well as fountains and memorial – we expect sensitive renovation of both objects. Restoration in the case of the fountain includes the removal of non – native middle part, at the memorial is expected restoring of the sculptures.
Second idea concerns the creation of the spaces with different hierarchy and atmosphere. There is pedestrian zone on the North with seatings at the tables, a small playground and an occasional parking. It is the part of the square where variety of cultural events take place such as markets, with the change of the parking regime on the South Our propose is to support relatively lively street with public functions – we design it with improved surface, planted alleys and especially connecting with the rest of the square.
A separate park is the park – a place to rest. The whole square is united with tiling, elevation of the roadway to the pavement level and with the traditional linden alleys. The square with paving blends well with the surrounding area and a chateau, a front space of the church and Palacky Square.
